Instead of clicking, “Insert into Post” as we’d do to let WordPress handle the image, instead you have to get the url of your photo (which must be stored on your own domain) and put it into the box that says Post Image. Don’t put anything into the box that says Thumbnail Image, unless you want a different photo used as the thumbnail. And – if you put something in Thumbnail Image, it must already be resized to a thumbnail.

Hi Colm – I looked at your site – and it looks great! For your categories, you’re not using teasers for those pages. So – if you have Thesis 1.7, go to the Thesis options in Site Options, then Archives – “Everything’s a Teaser!” That should do it.

Im not sure if you are still replying to this post but i thought i would try..My thumbnails shoe fine in my posts, however this is only on the homepage. When i go into my categories the same posts have no thumbnails showing?? any ideas would be appreciated!! thanks..

I’m so glad I came across this! For the life of me I couldn’t understand why my photo weren’t auto resizing.

…I feel a little ashamed though, because as a web designer, I should’ve investigated this matter a little further. Had I scrolled down, I would’ve seen what the problem was.
