Join me on Google Plus!

Post image for Join me on Google Plus!

I love Google+! Well, I really can’t think of anything Google’s done that I don’t absolutely love, and it’s getting better all the time. You can finally separate all kinds of people into separate circles and follow them or mutually follow and talk to them, and it’s really great to be able to talk to pro bloggers in one circle and your mom in another! I love to jump in several times a day and just see what’s going on, sometimes offering a comment or a silly picture.

If you’re on Google+, please add me GPlus.to/ChristieBlog to one of your circles so we can talk about fun geekery.

Daily Deals of the Day July 27, 2011 at 1:58 am

within the business of price promotions especially the daily deals site niche where only mailing lists are given but no real captured audience, social marketing using social sites are the other venue to promote and build customer relationship, twitter and facebook are good example of social sites. by adding google+ won’t hurt, i just hope that google+ lives up to its promise and become one of the dominant social word-of-mouth advertising and ranking platform out there.

Richard from Artificial Grass July 29, 2011 at 6:28 am

I’ve not tried Google Plus yet as I didn’t think there was a particularly big user base yet.
Is there actually enough people using it to make it as fun as twitter?

christie August 2, 2011 at 9:33 pm

I think the guys I work with don’t like it too much, because a lot of the people around you are not on it yet. But if you like to follow bloggers or other online people you’ll find them and be able to talk to them and share a lot.

Nicole Phenix December 9, 2011 at 5:49 pm

Christie,
I agree. I cant get any of my music friends and family to use it however I find alot of great info from
other bloggers. There also seems to be a huge IM community on Google+

Ahser Pets from Accurate Jewelry Appraisals July 30, 2011 at 3:30 am

Most of the things in Google + is similar to Facebook. We have friends in the FB and here in Google + its called circles. The new thing here is that it shows the people two types, people in the Circle and in how many Circles you are. Its the nice concept! Although it have some more great features.

christie August 2, 2011 at 9:35 pm

I love those circles. It’s great being able to keep all the various groups of people separate, according to the different topics or settings.

Dennis from Kanariansaaret August 4, 2011 at 3:21 am

The circles are like tweets, blog posts and emails. Just pick the cirle you want your message to be heard. Easier to manage who sees your message. I can even choose what language I’m going to use according to the circle I’m posting my messages. Now I’m only waiting that all the people on my facebook list is going to find me on G+ and then I can make the switch to G+ only.

Dennis from Kanariansaaret August 4, 2011 at 3:25 am

The circles are a great way to target your messages. You can use them like tweets, blog posts or emails. Just choose who you want to target your message to. I could move to G+ only if everyone in my Facebook list is going to move to G+ too. Google plus also integrates great to my Android phone too.

christie August 4, 2011 at 7:46 am

Yes, it will be better and better as people from Facebook move to G+. I enjoy being able to talk to targeted circles, all from one account. I also love the Android G+ app… it’s a lot better than the Facebook app!

Boston flyer August 5, 2011 at 1:15 am

I love what Google does, but it took a while for me to warm up towards Google+. I’m still in camp Facebook, but G+ definitely has some new and interesting features.

Tina from wedding favors August 11, 2011 at 8:45 pm

I am not yet sure if I will replace my Facebook with Google plus. Most of my friends are still with Facebook. Maybe if all of my friends will transfer to plus then I will join them.

Glenn from SEO Arizona August 14, 2011 at 2:09 am

@Tina:
Well you don’t have to change it. You just need to connect with them also in Google+ although I myself is still getting grips on using this one. Well, I don’t usually use Facebook too maybe that’s why either way doesn’t matter to me.

Glennda from SEO Arizona August 18, 2011 at 4:58 am

Oh yes, I have Google + and saw my friends there. I separated them too on different circles and my other connections. It’s kind of cute though.

perry musso August 18, 2011 at 6:58 am

g+ is a whole new world to socialmedia.and i enjoy it i already have an account, everything i need to search in now easy to navigate

Desi August 20, 2011 at 1:18 am

Iʻm still not seeing how G+ is different than FB. All the stuff you mentioned here I have been doing in FB for a couple of years now. Itʻs just a new interface for people to get excited about, but not me. I may be behind the curve in a year, but Iʻm willing to take my chances.

Mark Testa from southern california Free mls August 20, 2011 at 8:09 am

Sure thing! Its funny how just a few months ago everybody was still talking about Facebook and Twitter being all that, and now here comes Google with their own Social Media website. It might be tough for them to reach the levels of Facebook and Twitter soon, some might even think its impossible but if anyone is going to do it, its going to be Google.

Mike from Car Hire Portugal August 23, 2011 at 9:11 am

I will definitely add you up Christie. I like your humor :)

eqa August 23, 2011 at 10:28 pm

I love Google+ too! Recently they already released their own versions of Google+ games, have you checked it out? I tried some and I have to admit they really did a pretty good job on it. Go ahead and try those games! Also, I like the way you can add links to your favorite site on your Google+ profile. Sleek!

Sab from Email Marketing Software August 26, 2011 at 1:54 am

Google + is very exciting! Give it one year and it will be as popular as Facebook. Hey, I’m going to add you up in my circle. Great blog you have there :)

jasmin from colored contact lenses August 30, 2011 at 9:04 pm

I am very interested with this google plus I would like to start with this bandwagon as early as possible.

dan from carports prices December 16, 2011 at 5:20 pm

Now you can start using it. But I think facebook is too big that anything could compete to it. Enyoy enyway, I am big fan of google.

ann from french property September 1, 2011 at 12:42 am

Google+ is trying to make its name like Facebook, well I’m giving it a shot. Gonna be adding you on my circles.

Murray from Car Hire Cyprus September 3, 2011 at 1:06 am

G+ is awesome and adding friends to our circles is similar to Facebook. I think in another 1 year G+ will be a great thing on this earth.

Sandip from Alterpay Scam September 7, 2011 at 8:39 am

I was reluctant to try it but after this overwhelming positive review I just might!

india seo services September 8, 2011 at 2:33 am

Google+ is really amazing, very useful to separate all kinds of people into separate circles and follow them or mutually follow and talk with them. Its beneficial for showing people in two types, people in the Circle and in how many Circles we are.

Zach from Infrared Heaters September 16, 2011 at 10:09 am

“Well, I really can’t think of anything Google’s done that I don’t absolutely love…” Does that include the almost-universally-panned Buzz, or now-defunct Wave and Wonder Wheel? :-) I agree that Google, for as big a company as they are, has really made very few significant missteps in their short but remarkable history. I think the jury is still out on Google+ – it’s a step in the right direction, but if it becomes effective, the “arms race” will be on to see if it can be gamed. So far, it has developed that there’s almost nothing on the internet that can’t be.

Vins from Canon Printer Repair September 21, 2011 at 2:10 am

Google+ will dominate Facebook in the future I guess, recently Facebook just added a new feature to its social networking experience. Google+ will also be on top of your to-do list in SEO when time comes.

Dany from Yahoo domain September 22, 2011 at 3:39 pm

Google+ is open to everyone now right? Do you have any idea if business or professional profiles are allowed now?

john from mobile coupons September 23, 2011 at 1:52 pm

Google + is becoming my favorite social media platform. You mentioned circles in Google +. This is great because you can share content with some and share different content with others. In other words, you have more control over who sees what! This is perhaps the best part of Google +.

MLM Software September 26, 2011 at 7:54 am

I am using Google+ for nearly 1 month but I really like its features as its easy to use and yet so simple and organized.

Annie from Nashville SEO September 28, 2011 at 3:22 pm

What kind of effect does Google + have on Google ranking, how does peoples pluss become an advantage for you?

Rasmus from Betalda undersökningar sverige October 5, 2011 at 11:55 pm

When Google Plus was launched I thought it would be just a “copy” of Facebooks like button but there is a big difference if you compare them.

I also love Google Plus like the author of this post and it will help me a lot in my internet marketing in the future :)

Rok from Types of Coffee October 7, 2011 at 5:39 am

I like Google+ more than facebook, but I think that facebook is to big. But if there is annyone to compete with fb, this must be Google+.

ana nemec from expensive coffee October 8, 2011 at 5:53 am

I have all my friends on google+ but non of them are posting anything? Are they sharing their life trought facebook? Or what is the reason that they don’t use it.

Charley from new modern glass coffee tables October 12, 2011 at 3:39 pm

Google plus is actually getting better everyday and I find myself visiting it more frequently than facebook. The experience is not as exciting as facebook because there are less users at the moment but things will generally get better with time.

Bob from Games at Work October 19, 2011 at 2:38 am

I’ve noticed a drop-off of people using Google plus since its launch day though. I was getting like 1 google + per every 7 Facebook likes then but now thats fallen to like one for every 20. It seems Google has a high tide of users at launch but now everyone still uses facebook.

Mimi from Africa traveler October 19, 2011 at 6:47 am

I like the idea of having different circles, but other than that I don’t find Google plus very appealing. Partly it’s personal taste and the force of habit (I’ve been using facebook for a long time and I guess I got used to it), but on the other hand, there aren’t so many people that I know who are using Google Plus, so it’s not like there’s much going on there from where I’m standing. So I’m reluctant to praise Google Plus too much, and I’m pretty sure that many people wouldn’t abandon Facebook in favor of Google Plus…

Met from Steel Manufacturer October 23, 2011 at 4:37 pm

It will be interesting to see how rapidly Google+ moves up in the ranks of social media and if it proves effective for online marketing. I’m just now beginning to do a serious study of how it can improve our business.

mandic December 5, 2011 at 9:48 am

I hope one day google+ will become more popular than facebook because, facebook is really annoying.

erik from carports for sale December 17, 2011 at 6:42 am

Facebook has to many users, and google+ for once don’t give them reason why close facebook account and create google+ acoount. So it Wont heapen.
