I loved when Direct Tv had a Tivo DVR version, supposedly they are coming back out with a new version and I can’t wait.

Most people who have never used Tivo have no clue just how much it blows away any DVR box that any cable company makes.

Cool, she must be more technically minded than most then. I know quite a few people that still don’t know how to program a VCR, let alone a DVD player or Divo. I’m glad she likes it. It’s not often you can actually find a gift for your parents that they actually use.

@Greg – Oh you have to get one! It’ll change your life! Seriously, I am so glad to not have to deal with VCR tapes anymore. The basic TiVo will now record two things at once for you, too.

@Robert – Yeah I’m going to be careful to announce that I love the TiVo more than the cats, the kids, or anyone else! Don’t want to make him have a frowny face

@Klaus – Definitely! Maybe keep it in a safe or something overnight. I’d hate to wake up and find that thing standing over me.
